We aim to improve the health and well-being of both the animal and human populations in developing communities, through the establishment and support of sustainable animal welfare programmes, staffed by qualified and appropriately trained veterinary personnel.We are urgently seeking volunteer veterinarians and veterinary nurses to assist us in our work in India, Asia and the Pacific.Sample project activities: - Animal Birth Control and Anti-Rabies initiatives: performing desexing surgery and Rabies vaccination
- Provision of general healthcare for stray and abandoned animals
- Public awareness and school education programmes, promoting responsible pet ownership and compassion for animals
- Training of local veterinarians and para-veterinary staff
- Wildlife conservation efforts
We are currently seeking offers of assistance from volunteer veterinarians and veterinary nurses.
