Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Tranent East Lothian

Full Time Veterinary Surgeon - Near Edinburgh – Tranent & Dunbar, Scotland We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to run and expand our busy Dunbar branch both clinically & surgically. Your time can be split with our main site in Tranent. East Lothian is a great place to be, close to Edinburgh, as well as coast & hills nearby. We are a busy small animal practice providing the ideal opportunity to use your veterinary skills to the full. We are a great, friendly, social team of vets, nurses and support staff - would be part of the Dunedin team and could be asked to work at the other branches occasionally. Our practice has a full range of surgical and medical facilities and we are also a Veterinary Nursing training practice. We are looking for a team player. You will have to be a good communicator, have empathy with clients and their pets, and a passion to extend your range of experience, alongside our like-minded team. We are flexible about how your wish your career to develop. We can support training whether clinical or managerial. We have a lovely new ultrasound machine if you want to hone your echo skills. Or if you now wish to be more involved in management we can support that ambition too. Working a 4-day week (36 hours) and alternate Saturday mornings (4 Hours), There is no on call duty. A part-time position or job share will be considered. Salary - is commensurate with experience.
