Permanent Veterinary Nurse - STOURBRIDGE West Midlands
We have a permanent veterinary reception job available in Dudley. This is a private practice and had been established for over 40 years! To be a successful Receptionist you will have the following skills and experience: - First class interpersonal and administrative skills. - Computer literate (training is provided but a working knowledge is essential) - Excellent telephone skills (this is essential) - A passion for excellence - Hardworking - Pro- active - Ability to juggle priorities - Previous experience within the Veterinary Sector as a receptionist or animal care assistant would be an advantage. - A love for people and animals. As a member of the Receptionist team your duties will be to: - Provide a friendly and professional welcome to clients both face to face and by telephone - Ensure the smooth running of appointments and admissions for the vets / nursing / clinical support team. - Liaise with clients following their appointment and ensure payment of invoices on leaving the veterinary practice. - Ensure correct and complete client invoicing. - Maintenance of client contact details including mobile numbers and email addresses. - Ensure the maintenance of accurate financial client records. - Proactively promote the services offered by the veterinary practice e.g. pet insurance, the Pet Health Club. Ideal working pattern will be 25/30 hours per week, (5 days pw; Mon- Friday including 2x 7.30pm finishes and 1x 7pm finish) Shift patterns need to cover our opening hours 8.am - 8pm. Saturday mornings only ; rota 1 in 5.
