Small Animal Vet
Locum Veterinary Surgeon - Banbury, Oxfordshire
In need of a SA locum. Working up to 4 shifts per week (8am till 6.30pm) at a large, first opinion Hospital. Their consult shifts are 15 minute appointments but for experienced Vets who have good surgical skills, they can look at ops days too once you are settled into the practice. They also have some weekends available if you fancy an OOH shift at the weekend (8am till 6pm). Opportunity for longer term locum/perm work for the right person. They are an independent practice, Vets work cases up to a very high standard and have a lot of autonomy. They are very reputable which makes it a busy practice but with a good support network of experienced Vets and an outstanding Nursing Team. They provide full induction. They use Robovet as PMS, so any experience of this is very much appreciated. Location wise, they are based on a Farm in stunning countryside, with good train/airport links nearby and picturesque Stratford Upon Avon and Oxford only half hour away. You will need your own transport as sadly, public transport doesn`t quite reach the site. They have accommodation on site but it can be noisy as they have a small animal night shift team and OOH for our farm/equine running throughout the night so would only recommend this on a short term basis. Please get in touch if you are interested 01280 850575.
