looking for a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to work within two of the branches permanently, covering 36 hours over a 5 day week.
Due to continued success, we are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly, supportive team. Along with being able to work as a team, you should also be able to work on your initiative, always striving for the best in patient and client care.
The role of the veterinary nurse is critical to the provision of high standards of client and patient care. In this role you will be a key member of the nursing team, working effectively with the Clinical Nursing Manager to nurture great team ethics whilst providing guidance and support to the junior nursing staff and animal care/kennel assistants.
You will work closely with all team members to ensure the smooth running of all clinical areas and kennels and will have clear communication lines with all other teams to ensure the practice is providing outstanding patient and client care.
The successful candidate will report to the Clinical Nurse Manager and be responsible for delivering the best service and care to all our patients and clients, with some answering phones and working at the front desk. The role will be varied, with time potentially spent at any of the 4 well-equipped branches as required.
They offer a diverse shift pattern with some early finishes and late starts for a good work-life balance. Our shifts range from 4 to 11 hours, the earliest start at 8 am and the latest finished by 7 pm. They operate standard working hours of 36 hours per week and weekend rota is 1:4 and 1:6.
