Independent practice is looking for a VETERINARY SURGEON.
Swindon , Wiltshire
£70,000.00 starting salary
Operating from 3 independent sites
New gold standard cat only clinic at main site
Facilities at main clinic allow cases to be dealt with in house with little need for referral.
Supportive efficient management teams at each clinic
36 staff members with nursing team of 16
Teaching practice offering good caring support.
Open culture with emphasis on CPD
JOB ROLE
overall responsibility for the clinical team when principal vet not available.
Senior veterinary surgeon able to cope with most surgical cases.
Freedom to define your own position within the clinic ideally with a special interest.
REQUIREMENTS
Quality of experience more important than quantity but would expect suitable candidate to have several years experience in practice.
Further qualifications desirable but not essential.
Medical and surgical veterinary surgeon.
Experienced client care skills
Ability to coach others in the veterinary team.
The details
4 day week 9am till 6:30pm plus one in four Saturdays 9-12am
Additional 1 in 4 rota for hospitalised patient care.
Emergency work taken by Vets Now.
5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays
