Clinical Director

Permanent Vet in Moray

Salary for the role is up to £80,000 depending on experience + Relocation allowance up to £2,000 if required.

We are looking for a Large Animal Clinical Director to work in a 4 FTE Farm and Equine Role within a busy Mixed practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of their Vet team of large animal vets, supporting their development.

We continue to evolve our proactive service provision with our farm and equine clients and we would look to our new CD to drive this forward. We are fortunate to have an excellent farm client base with a number of driven pedigree and commercial beef and sheep clients. Experience of working with proactive clients and staff management experience would be preferred but training can be provided working alongside the Regional Head of Farm and Area Director. Good leadership skills are required with a grasp of both the economics of our farm clients and the practice business as a whole.
At this stage it would be anticipated that the new CD would contribute to the OOH Rota but equally would play a key role in continuing to evolve that to ensure the best working conditions for their team.

The practice is based in Northeast Scotland in the middle of a livestock farming Hub. We are fortunate still to have a strong community spirit and the Vet is still held in high regard and a valued member of the community.

We have all the facilities to support a Large Animal Team including Easi-scan Go Scanners, Bull Fertility Equipment, Foot trimming facilities and Internal IDEXX Lab. The Position would be working with a client base that are producing some of the most superior livestock in the UK and are not prepared to cut corners.
The area is also famous for our scenic coastline within a few miles, with the Cairngorms an hour away. Transport links are easy with Aberdeen Airport an hours drive or by train.
