They have 7 farm animal vets with combined 90+ years of experience; without mentioning that the current director knows the client, as family as he has practice there for over 35 years and the practice has been independent for decades.
Looking for an enthusiastic farm animal Vet to join this expanding team of 7 farm Vets. This role can be tailored to suit the individual desire. As a Large Animal Veterinarian, you will work with farmers to promote high health and efficient productivity of their animals, as well as to diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries. As a practice they openly discuss AMU with farmers and evaluating different proactive approach to develop their farms. They work closely with various groups that fund clinical investigation for further development on farms.
Their rota encourages a healthy life-work balance with time off after weekend on call; working 1 in 4 weekends and 1 night a week with on call fluctuating depending on the time of year (typically quieter in summer months). You must be able to work within a team and individually, but OOH will never be sole chare. A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude is essential as they focus on employee welfare. Sense of humour also beneficial!
