Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience
This is a full or part-time position working at our single-site practice on the outskirts of Southampton. There will be a mixture of consulting and surgery during the week with some sole charge during holidays and on Saturday mornings. Preferred hours are 9.00 -7.00pm four days a week with a half day off on a set day. Flexible hours will be considered but we require some late shifts to be covered. Out of hours are covered by Vets Now.
We are a single site practice over two floors. We have in-house laboratory machines, digital x-ray, E.C.G, capnography, blood pressure, ultrasound machines.
We are a friendly experienced team who strive to give the best patient care to all our clients. We are keen to share ideas and knowledge and enjoying training nurses and new Graduates. We have a loyal client base that has been established over the last 40 years. We pride ourselves on being a stable team with a low turnover.
Southampton is a vibrant city with great links to the rest of the country by car, train and planes. We are on the doorstep of the beautiful New Forest and the Solent, so excellent opportunities for hiking and all water sports. There may be an opportunity to further your career to Clinical Director level as we fully support the progression of our staff.
Our experienced team of 5 Veterinary Surgeons includes one certificate holder in surgery. Our nursing team comprises of 8 RVN``s who have all been trained at this surgery and one Animal Care Assistant. We have a Practice Manager who is also an RVN and two Receptionists.
