Salary up to £75,000 depending on experience plus up to £3000 relocation allowance plus benefits

Looking for a Full time Veterinary Surgeon, Part time Veterinary Surgeon or a Senior Veterinary Surgeon, depending on what stage you`re at in your career. The daily workload includes a variety of first opinion consultations and operations. The rota is structured and based on personal interests.
Full time applicants can be 4 or 5 days, Part time applicant`s can be between 2 or 3 days. The shifts can be flexible depending on potential candidate requirements and include 1:4 Saturday mornings (9am-2pm). There are no out of hours with this role.

They have all the general equipment to support gold standard work such as:
An internal lab which includes Idexx laboratory machines.
X-ray room which includes digital x-ray, ultrasound machine and endoscopes.
Dental x-ray machine
Separate dirty and clean ops room which includes multiparameter and ECG machine.
They also have separate dog, cat, and isolation wards in the practice.
A private ambulance which is available for home visits.

They have an experienced team in practice which includes a Practice Director, 3 Veterinary Surgeons, 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses, Student Nurses, and a Support Team. Their nurses have undertaken certificates including CertECC ISFM DipFN and soon to be NCert AnBehn. They are happy to support any personal interest through tailored CPD or a certificate.

Their experienced nurses perform routine nurse consultations including second vaccinations, x-rays along with dental scale and polishes, giving you time to work up your cases and reduce that extra pressure which is commonly found within the veterinary industry.

While on surgery shifts, they make sure there are enough nurses to support the smooth running of your day, this includes your ops nurse who will work closely alongside you, monitoring anaesthetics. An ops support nurse is on hand to support the ops nurse is setting up for the day, getting everything ready for the next procedure, making a smooth transition from patient to patient. And a wards nurse is dedicated to recovering all patients. By having enough nurses who are fully utilised, they help to make sure your day runs smoothly and you achieve that much needed break!

They offer 15-minute consultations and 30 minutes for more complex cases that need extra time and support.

They have rolling monthly meetings across all teams, to discuss cases and any change that need to be implemented, ensuring communication is at the highest standard.
