A fantastic opportunity is available as a receptionist in Radlett at this independent Vet practice.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £22,500.00-£23,500.00 per year. 30 days holiday (inc. bank holiday) * better than most*. WorkPension scheme. Staff discounts on products, own pet treatment and medication. Smart-Casual dress code, no uniform.
The position is 40 hours a week inclusive, with an alternating pattern of a week on earlier starts and then a week on later starts (8 hour day) Monday to Fridays and every other Saturday morning : 8.30am - 12.30pm.
About you:
Previous reception experience is encouraged, ideally veterinary - but not necessary
General use of a computer - some Word and Excel experience a bonus
Professional telephone manner essential
Good communication skills
Positive, helpful and pro-active attitude
Ability to work independently using initiative (all training and advice will be supplied)
Punctual and presentable
About the role:
Booking in consultations
Triaging phone calls and emails promptly
Dealing with customer enquiries and requests including giving general advice regarding medications, and general enquiries (all training and advice will be provided)
Communicating with clients, and other staff members
Running front of house, stock control, sales
Taking payments,
Updating client records
General administrative duties
