We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent full time vet to join a wonderful independent, purpose-built small animal practice in Colchester. They are a busy and well-regarded veterinary practice that has been part of the Colchester community for 75 years. Colchester is a historic market town with lovely surrounding countryside, 25 minutes to the coast and just 45 minutes by train into London.
They provide extremely friendly environment for both patients and clients, putting them at the heart of everything they do. - A1 Locums has visited this clinic and provided them with locums since 2016, many of which have booked for long stints or converted to permanent members of staff.
They have a large and experienced team who work extremely well together. The practice is a very enjoyable place to work and each and every team member is valued for their skills and ideas. Our locums have been looked after like one of their own during their placements too, all of our locums have commented on how well run, friendly and accommodating this clinic is.
The role is a 4-day week with an additional Friday off every six weeks with only a 1:6 Saturday morning rota and no OOH`s. They are very conscious to try and provide all the team with an excellent work-life balance.
