Salary for this role is up to £65,000 negotiable depending on experience, a welcome bonus up to £4,000 and a relocation allowance up to £3,000.
We have an exciting opportunity available for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a team of 5 Veterinary Surgeons, a phenomenal nursing team that cover a huge amount of nurse consults as well as post op checks which comprise of 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses & 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, 3 Receptionists and 2 Office Staff. CPD is encouraged and well supported with an excellent CPD budget and additional staff benefits. This is an experienced team ranging from 4-30 years so a great opportunity to work alongside some very experienced vets in the industry with various caseloads ranging from dentistry, consulting, medical and surgical work ups and treatments, orthopaedic cases, complex soft tissue surgeries, internal medicine cases and preventative health care cases to name a few with scope to develop your own caseloads in your niche area of expertise.
There is scope for the role to be a consult only role or surgical only role should you prefer one over the other or it can be a full 360 vet role the choice is yours.
This is a single site practice, and all rooms are air-conditioned. There is access to several good referral centres although a lot of complex cases are managed at the clinic, including orthopaedics. Our up-to-date facilities include a dedicated operating theatre, 3 consulting rooms, large prep area, separate dog/cat wards, imaging/ dental area with digital X-ray facilities (standard and dental), MyLab 25 Gold E-SAOTE ultrasound scanner, extensive in-house lab, ECG, and tonometer.
6.6 weeks annual leave including bank holidays
