Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience plus a relocation allowance up to £3,000
We are looking for a well-rounded and keen small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a single site practice. Our ideal candidate will enjoy consulting and working up cases and value developing good client relationships. You will have confidence in general surgery and medicine, and a willingness to continue building on these skills with support from an experienced team. Consults are 15 minutes long, well-spaced and with time allowed for paperwork and phone calls within the working day. Each of the 5 vets has a fixed ops day and the same day off each week to allow a predictable rota with good continuity. The clinical teams meet monthly to catch up and plan ahead.
This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours over 4 days per week from 8.30am- 7.30pm. There will be 1 in 5 Saturday mornings with half day off the previous week and no out of hours. Part time applicants will also be considered.
They are a friendly, supportive team of 5 experienced Veterinary Surgeons, 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, a Dispenser, 4 Receptionists and a Practice Manager, many of whom have worked at the practice for a long time.
