Small Animal Vet

Permanent Vet in Cheshire

Up to £75,000 depending on experience (pro rata for part time), plus a £5,000 relocation allowance, as well as a welcome bonus of £5000 (pro rata for part time).

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Vet looking to join a supportive practice, working in whatever way they feel comfortable. The practice are happy to accommodate a consult-only role if this is your preference and you will have access to the expertise of experienced clinicians and advanced practitioners. They offer an excellent balance between consults and ops, with every vet having the opportunity to do both consults and surgeries in every shift worked. They offer 15-minute consults and insert catch-up slots in between to allow vets to catch-up if a consult runs over, to write notes, make phone calls, or to discuss cases with other vets.

They are happy to offer a very flexible working options working between 10-38 hours per week. Out-of-hours shifts are available in the evenings between 6:30 pm - 9 pm and at weekends 8:00 am - 5 pm, however, there are opt-out options

This modern practice is equipped with fantastic facilities. They are a training practice providing staff with ample support to ease into the team and gain experience. There are 12 vets, mostly working part time making use of the flexible rota pattern they offer, and an experienced nursing and support team. They have certificate holders in cardiology, medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, and diploma holders in general anaesthesia so they can support you and develop your skills. Additionally, two of our vets are currently busy studying their certificates as well. The team get together for a meal and clinical discussion every two months.
