The salary for this role will be up to £29,000 depending on experience.
We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a fantastic team made up of Vets, Nurses, and Support Staff. The successful candidate will work between the exotics branch and other small animal surgeries. Experience working with exotic species is ideal but someone with a keen interest to develop in this area would be great too.
The rota will include working 5 days per week, 1 full weekend with TOIL and 1 Saturday morning in 6. They have their own dedicated night team so no need to worry if you`re not a night owl!
Between 6 surgeries, they offer a CT scanning, digital x-ray, ultrasound, digital dental x-ray, endoscopy, ECG and in house haematology, biochemistry, and blood gases.
They have a team of 24 Veterinary Surgeons, 30 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 6 Student Veterinary Nurses, 13 Veterinary Auxiliaries, 25 Receptionists, 4 Admin Staff and a team of 6 Managers. There are certificate holders in various disciplines (Surgical, Orthopaedic, ophthalmology, cardiology, exotic species, internal medicine) which allows them to keep a large and varied case load inhouse. They also support numerous local charities.
6 weeks annual leave including bank holidays
