A typical full-time role would involve working a 4 day week, however, the practice are able to consider any flexible working pattern you might want, but are looking for someone willing to work a share of our OOH``s rota. You will always be accompanied by a nurse when on call, and paid a call out fee for each call in addition to your salary. For example, one of the vet team members works a 2 week on, 2 week off pattern, others have a set day off a week for childcare reasons. Weekday shifts are typically 08:30 - 19:00, Saturdays are 08:30 - 12:30, Sundays are 11.00-12.00, along with the OOHs rota.

The practice are keen to hear from vets with an interest in orthopaedics, dermatology, or ophthalmology, as they would love to grow these services further, however it is not essential. modern facilities include digital radiography, dental radiography and dental suite, multiple surgical theatres, Idexx laboratory equipment, ultrasound, endoscopy, a K-laser and various multi-parameter monitoring equipment. They also welcome visiting specialists to enhance our expertise.

The team consists of 9 vets. We have an Advanced Practitioner Certificate holder, someone undertaking a Surgery Certificate, and 2 vets that perform Acupuncture. We have 2 VetGDP advisors in our clinic, so can support any recent graduates with this. We are a registered Nurse training practice and regularly host EMS students.

We have 13 RVNs, 2 SVNs and 3 VCA``s. Our reception and admin support team consists of 20 people. We support local charities through various initiatives, like food collections for our local charities.
