The salary for this role is up to £63,000 (pro-rata for part-time) depending on experience plus a generous benefits package and Negotiable relocation allowance
The role is full-time working 40 hours per week, across 4-5 days. However the practice is able to accommodate part time depending on your requirements.
Consults are offered 7 days per week and the post-holder will participate in an on-call rota for in-patients only, with support from permanent Night RVN team, one night per week and 1:5 weekends (Fri- Sun, with time off in lieu). Vets Now provide all other OOH cover. The weekend consists of Saturday 8:30am-5pm and Sunday 8am-12pm and is a mixture of consults, inpatient checks and emergencies. This gives vets and patients the benefit of continuity of care without the need to transfer to another site.
They offer wide and varied surgical and medical caseloads which are supported by laparoscopy and endoscopy equipment, digital radiography and CT. Team members include certificate holders in cardiology, surgery/orthopaedics, dentistry and internal medicine. Through their teaching associations with the University of Nottingham Vet School, you will have opportunities to work alongside leading surgeons and clinicians.
The team is made up of 8 vets, including certificate holders in cardiology, surgery/orthopaedics, internal medicine, dentistry, 1 graduate vet, 10 registered veterinary nurses including 3 night registered veterinary nurses and advanced certificate holders, 2 student nurses, 3 hospital assistants supported by 12 customer care staff.
