Permanent Full time RVN required in Hampshire.
Starting from £28,000 but commensurate with level of experience.
The position is based on an average 40-hour week with a 1 in 4 weekend shift pattern.
Typical working hours will be Monday to Friday shifts between 08h00 - 19h30, Saturdays 08h00 - 18h00 and Sundays 10h00 - 16h00 (closed on Sundays for the foreseeable future).
Opening hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am to 7.00pm and Saturdays 9.00am to 6.00pm.
You will be joining a friendly small animal first opinion practice and the team consists of 4 veterinary surgeons with varying levels of experience who are supported by seven registered veterinary nurses, two student veterinary nurses, one veterinary care assistant, seven receptionists, and a practice manager.
The practice is built to industry leading standards and includes standard and dental digital radiography, ultrasonography, endoscopy, four consulting rooms, individual cat and dog wards, isolation room and an onsite operating theatre.
You must have a minimum of 3 years in practice experience, have excellent customer care, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, be computer literate, be able to work under pressure, solve problems and work independently and be self motivated and hard working.
Duties will include admissions and discharges, monitoring ops, in patient care, delivering clinics (on weight, dental care, puppy and kitten care and diabetes), consulting, measuring blood pressure, blood sampling, supporting vets, pharmacy work, clinical coach training will be provided to support regular student placements.
