£65,000 per annum Flexible, depending on experience and rota.
An exciting new opportunity for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon at a small animal branch surgery.
Looking for an experienced candidate to further develop and expand their current veterinary team. The individual will be responsible for working closely with the site`s lead veterinary nurse in leading and supporting their veterinary team. The ideal candidate would be confident consulting, have excellent communication skills and good surgical and diagnostic skills.
Key responsibilities include maintaining the highest standards of clinical care of your own and within the business; understanding, utilising, and assisting in developing the team`s clinical skills to maximise provisions and level of service, and support in training and mentoring of the veterinary team. You will also be expected to inspire and motivate the team; collaborate and effectively communicate with team members and build and maintain lasting relationships with clients and your fellow colleagues.
Benefits include 25 days holiday + bank holidays and birthday off (pro-rata for part-time), No out-of-hours (OOH), RCVS and VDS fees paid, External CPD funded.
