Salary up to £29,000 depending on experience plus a relocation allowance up to £1,000 plus benefits
We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse with a wide-ranging skill set and interests. The role includes surgical nursing, inpatient care, nurse consulting, lab work and diagnostic imaging.
The role includes working 4 days per week with a set day off per week to benefit work/life balance., The shifts are mostly 8.30am starts and 5.30pm finishes with an average of one 8.30am - 7.30pm shift per week. Out of Hours work will go to Vets Now in March 2024, so the role will soon no longer have any on call shifts. Evenings and weekend shifts will be 1 in 6, with Saturday morning opening currently. We are also happy to consider part time applicants.
The practice has 4 Veterinary Surgeons (one/two vacancies currently covered by excellent regular locums), a Student Veterinary Nurse, a Veterinary Care Assistant and 5 experienced Receptionists. They welcome team members who are open to all aspects of general practice, and those seeking to expand their own areas of veterinary interest. They are a Nurse Training Practice, Cat Friendly and Practice Standards accredited seeking to continually improve patient card and client experience. The practice supports the local greyhound rehoming centre, and act as a host venue for Pet Blood Bank.
