Vacancy for a permanent full time VET in Plymouth.
Competitive salary up to 60k FTE.
Ideally this is a full-time role, with flexibility for shorter hours considered if required. Full-time the vets currently work 4 days a week, in addition to a shared weekend rota when they open between 9am and midday on Saturday and 10am and midday on Sunday, for consultations and emergencies only. There are no OOH.
Opening Hours Monday to Friday 8.30am to 7.00pm
Facilities at the purpose-built practice include 4 consulting rooms, operating theatre, central preparation room and all the equipment you would expect from a leading GP practice along with orthopaedic surgical kits. They have a travelling orthopaedic vet with them once a week on average, along with a heart vet every Thursday which gives the team further opportunity to learn and develop from their varied caseload.
Benefits include Paid holiday of 28 days, rising to 33 days after 2 years of service, (Extra day off for your birthday), Paid professional memberships including RCVS and BVA, Dedicated CPD allowance and time off including funding towards certificates, Life assurance 4 x annual salary.
