Ideally 2 x Permanent Full time Vet required in Cheshire.
(Could be a couple potentially looking for a new adventure)
Salary will be negotiated in line with experience - £45k - £65k negotiable depending on experience.
Looking to recruit to a full time position but would be open to considering someone interested in a part time position.
A small, privately owned and managed Veterinary Practice based in the Wirral. The location is within 15 minutes of Liverpool City Centre and approximately 30 minutes of Chester City and 5 minutes from Wirral coast line.
A busy practice, dealing very largely with small companion animals although the Senior Veterinary Surgeon also does some equine work. The surgery is very well equipped with 2 Consultation Rooms, 2 Operating Theatres, an X-Ray Room, a Preparation Room, a Laboratory as well as Reception areas, Offices and Storage areas. The equipment includes In-house blood machines, digital x-ray, ultrasound and dental equipment. They have a growing and varied case load so there will be plenty of interesting challenges for the successful candidate.
They are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to replace one who is leaving to return home. Ideally, the successful applicant will have approximately 5 years post graduate experience but they could consider someone with a little less.
Surgery is open Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 6.30 pm with a short clinic each Saturday from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm which is shared between the vets on a 1:3 basis. Rosters for the Veterinary Surgeons are flexible and, being a small Practice, they can generally adjust to suit individual requirements (no OOH``s).
Annual leave of 4 weeks plus all Public Holidays PLUS a day in lieu of your Birthday!
Accommodation is generally available within a short distance of the Surgery both rental and purchase.
