Anaesthesia Team Leader
Salary: Up to £40,000pa, depending on experience
Are you a dedicated veterinary nurse with a strong interest in anaesthesia and a desire to enhance your managerial skills?
As a team leader, you will have a pivotal role in ensuring the team delivers exceptional care to patients and facilitates an efficient workflow. Your responsibilities include providing support to the Clinical Services Manager, promoting learning and development, and role-modelling our core values. They prioritise the well-being of staff, fostering a friendly and close-knit team environment. They actively encourage and fully support additional qualifications and certifications, recognising the importance of employees enjoying their work and building fulfilling careers. Nurses are actively trained in advanced anaesthesia skills, including nerve blocks, arterial catheterisation, and developing anaesthesia plans for critical cases.
The hospital is operational 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and can offer the most advanced treatment options available for Orthopaedic, Neurology, Soft Tissue, Oncology, and Internal Medicine cases.
There is a 1.5T high-field magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computerised tomography (CT) suite on-site, and the hospital has invested in the latest direct digital radiography systems (also known as radiographs or X-rays) (DR). They routinely use computerised gait analysis to aid in the diagnosis of complex multi-limb lameness and employ the same technology to monitor recovery from surgery. ..
