Salary up to £70,000 depending on experience plus a relocation allowance up to £3,000
The practice carries out surgery every weekday morning and consultations all day and the role can be tailored to a surgery or consulting bias depending on the individual preference of the candidate.
The ideal candidate will work two full days (8.30am - 6.30pm) of their choice, with the option of an additional part day if they wish. There will also be a 1 in 3 Saturday morning involved on a rota from 8:30am-12:30pm. They use Vets Now for out of hours, so there is no out of hours or bank holiday shifts.
They currently have 2 Veterinary Surgeons and are recruiting for a third. One of the Vets is recently qualified and the other is experienced and soon to complete her certificate in ophthalmology.
They also have 4 experienced qualified Registered Veterinary Nurses and 3 Receptionists.
There are local certificate holders in orthopaedics, cardiology and medicine who visit for individual patients when required. This enables them to keep a lot of our more complex cases in house.
