Part-time Registered Veterinary Nurse- Maternity Cover
Salary up to £32,000 FTE depending on experience plus a relocation allowance up to £2,500 and welcome bonus up to £1,000.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward thinking, and dependable Registered Veterinary Nurse to provide compassionate and patient centred care. Responsibilities include:
Care of inpatients and maintaining accurate medical records
Nurse consultations
Monitoring of anaesthesia
Performing laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures
Infection control and assisting with training and development of student nurses.
This is a part-time maternity cover role working 3 days/19.5 hours per week on a Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. There will be 1 weekend in 4 (additional 7.5 hours for weekend) with no out of hours and no on call.
The practice is fully equipped with multiparameter and monitoring equipment, video endoscope, dental machine, digital x-ray and in house blood machines.
The team consists of 7/8 Veterinary Surgeons, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses and a Support team.
6.8 weeks pro rata annual leave including bank holidays
