A practice in Barnsley are on the lookout for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their nursing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team, dedicated to consistently delivering exceptional clinical care and customer service. Their ideal candidate will be a team player - keen to get stuck in and support their colleagues. You`ll have excellent communication skills and thrive on a varied caseload! They are big on continuous learning and they are looking for someone who wants to take full advantage of the fabulous professional development opportunities they have to offer.
In the team, they currently have 4 RVNs and 2 Veterinary Surgeons, with a graduate joining them in September. One of their Veterinary Surgeons has a clinical interest in exotics, and the other is enhancing her imaging skills, so there`s definitely no shortage of interesting cases coming through their doors! They pride themselves on the training and support they offer to students and they are delighted to say previous students have joined them on a permanent basis once qualified. They are constantly working on new initiatives to support skill gaps and they make sure CPD is continuous and happening across all levels in the surgery.
They have worked hard to make sure the practice has a friendly, local neighbourhood feel and they have built strong links with the local community through hosting events, fundraising and delivering educational initiatives. The reception team are renowned for their warm welcomes and the support they give to team members and clients alike.
