Up £65,000 depending on experience and up to £5,000 relocation support, plus benefits Branch Vet Surgeon.
A typical full time role would require you to work 40 hours over 4 days per week, along with 3:6 Saturday shifts. No out of hours or on call required. We`re happy to accept part time applications as well!
The Branch has an experienced RVN who is the branch head along with a Veterinary Surgeon; Client care advisor and an Animal care Assistant all dedicated and passionate about providing a high standard of care to the pet owners. It has Separate dog and cat kennels, operating theatre; IN house lab equipment which includes in house blood analyser`s (proccyte one and catalyst one) and microscope.
Equipment available at the hospital which is a 10-minute drive from the Branch includes: colour doppler ultrasound, Endoscopy suite with multiple scopes available. Laparoscopy, digital radiography, CT and MRI are all available on-site. Full lab equipment including lactate, ionised calcium, sedivue, coags, as well as slit lamp and tonopen. They regularly perform TPLO surgery, advanced fracture repair and advanced soft tissue surgery, and have all the necessary surgical equipment needed. Their dedicated dental branch houses two complete dental suites and performs all the dentistry for the practice.
The group has a fantastic and hardworking team of 20 committed Veterinary Surgeons, 20 dedicated RVN``s and a friendly, enthusiastic, support team. The experienced team includes certificate holders in medicine and imaging, with pending certificates in dentistry, surgery and medicine. All veterinary surgeons have free unlimited access to Vet CT telemedicine, a service allowing access to clinical advice from a specialist team. The branch surgeries do participate in local events and are integral to the local community.
