They are offering full or part time hours and are happy to discuss a rota that is flexible to your commitments, whether that be weekend only, childcare friendly, full or half days or whatever you require to achieve the work life balance you need. They are open 8:30am to 7pm weekdays, 9am to 5pm Saturdays and 10am to 4pm Sundays with a current 1 in 2 weekend rota which will extend to 1 in 3, there are no OOH.
Your workload will be 100% small animal and some exotics and will include a range of first opinion consultations, medical work-ups and surgery. Standard 15-30 minute appointments are made for all small animal medical cases. The team work together to ensure everyone gets their lunch break and they plan dedicated periods for admin tasks such as case follow ups and lab reports. Ideally you will feel comfortable with routine consults and surgery and confident working occasional sole charge.
They pride themselves on offering high standards of care while identifying areas to further improve. It`s important to them that they work in a way that is best for them and their team. They hold regular team meetings and 1:1s to make sure all team members get the chance to impact `how they do things,` and to give the opportunity to focus on development, both individual and how they move forward as a practice. Currently, they are working towards becoming an RCVS accredited, ISFM cat friendly and RWAF rabbit friendly practice and are starting to work towards a sustainability accreditation.
The team includes 1 Vet, 4 Nurses + Support team.
