Vet vacancy at a branch practice in the Wirral.
Competitive salary which is dependent on your level of experience.
They are flexible as to whether you would like to work full or part time. They can accommodate anything from 1-5 days per week, and they encourage a 4-day week for full time hours. Ideally the new vet would slot into the Saturday morning 1:3 rota but it is not a deal breaker.
Opening hours are Mon-Fri 09:00-18:30 and Saturday 09:00-13:00.
The team are made up of 2 Vets (both 20 + years qualified), 1 HVN, 3 RVNs, 2 SVN`s, 1 VCA and a practice manager (19 years` experience). their nursing team are central to their operations and as a training practice they encourage delegation of suitable tasks to the nurses. They are committed to a no-blame culture and as a RCVS accredited practice they engage in regular clinical governance meetings to ensure they are always learning and improving.
In practice they run 15-minute consults and tend toward a dynamic system whereby the right clients with the right pets are booked at the right time. This comes down to the team knowing their clients well. They are at heart a local family practice built on word-of-mouth reputation.
