RVN availability at a branch practice in Hinckley.
£24000 - £27000.
The position is full time, 40 hours per week with 1:4 weekends with a day off in lieu and no OOH.
Practice opening hours are Monday to Friday 09:00-19:00 and Saturday 09:00-14:30.
They are looking for a passionate and hardworking team member who is friendly and likes to work in a team environment. Someone who has a keen interest in animal welfare and puts their patient as a priority. An all-rounder nurse who is competent at all nursing duties.
The team consists of 5 vets ( and a visiting referral orthopaedic vet) 5 qualified nurses, three ACA``s and 2 student nurses (all of whom bring a variety of experience and knowledge) and of course a supportive team of receptionists.
They encourage their nurses to do what they trained for; placing catheters, taking bloods, nurse consults, inpatient care, FNA``s, radiography and schedule 3 procedures. They have nurses on ultrasound courses this year and encourage any further training which will improve care to their patients and use nurses skills.
The salary offered will be dependent of what you can offer them. They offer a CPD allowance of a minimum of £500 which is not fixed and there is flexibility if you would like to study further. they encourage CPD and welcome any ideas to utilise your nurses skills.
