A fantastic permanent opportunity has become available for an independent practice between Windsor and Maidenhead in Berkshire.
The Package
Salary £25,000-35,000 dependent on experience and years qualified
RCVS and VDS fees paid
External CPD allowance
5 weeks of annual leave plus Bank Holidays
Birthday additional day off

The role is ideally 4 or 5 days per week with shifts varying between 8-4 and 11-7 Monday to Friday across the nursing team. They also open on Saturday mornings 9-12 and the successful RVN will be required to contribute to the 1 in 5 rota.
The Veterinary Centre has been established in the area for over 60 years and is a family-owned, community practice, situated within beautifully converted farm buildings. They have a highly qualified team striving to provide exceptional care for clients` pets and are a unique practice in the area due to their size, location and independence. They all enjoy the routine work that general practice provides but also perform advanced soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. They don``t have out-of-hours call outs but do keep in patients overnight so there are plenty of ongoing medical cases too.
The Role
To provide nursing care to hospitalised patients, including patient monitoring and health checking, feeding, grooming and walking animals. administer treatments including injections, tablets, fluids and blood transfusions. Performing diagnostic tests, e.g. blood sampling, urine analysis and x-rays. Assisting in all theatre procedures, including orthopaedic and spay/neuter procedures.
