Salary up to £75,000 DOE plus benefits
A typical day runs from 08:30 - 18:30 with protected breaks and lunchtimes. weekends are Saturdays only and are shared evenly between our full-time vets. Saturdays run from 09:00 to 16:00 with a two-hour gap for lunch and in case there have been any admissions to catch up on.
Facilities include laparoscopic surgeries, orthopaedic equipment, vetseal, endoscopy, rhinoscopy, ultrasound digital and dental x-ray and an in-house laboratory. Their state-of-the-art clinic has been recently refurbished allowing an efficient workflow.
Their caseload is large and varied with many longstanding, loyal clients. They work closely with the Scottish SPCA and other local charities to perform surgeries, consultations, and legal casework.
The team is made up of 9 Veterinary Surgeons, 14 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 3 Veterinary Care Assistants and 8 Support Team staff. They have surgery certificate holders and vets working on ophthalmology dermatology and internal medicine certificates.
6.8 weeks annual leave (pro rata)
