Permanent Nurse in West Sussex

Multi site RVN vacancy in West Sussex.

Salary £26,000 to £33,000 pa depending on experience (with extra add-on for travel allowance).

This role is multi-site (roving) so will be based across all their hospitals and branches, an inflated pay will be given to cover this

Full time 40hrs per week, the RVNs typically work a 4-day week, totalling 40 hours. They usually work a mixture of shifts (7.30am-6pm, 8.30am-7pm and 9.30am-8pm). Everyone contributes to the daytime weekend rota, bank hol and on call rota.

You must be an RVN and hold a valid driving licence is essential due to the potential need to work at other locations.

They are a growing small animal practice with 2 state-of-the-art hospitals and 4 busy branch clinics. They are expanding their team and are looking for a passionate, experienced RVN to join their family. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to use all their nursing skills and experience in a positive surgical and medical environment, looking after a variety of patients and dealing with emergencies.

They offer a wide range of quality services from routine consultations and emergency care through to complex surgery and management of critical cases. Their Advanced Practitioner vets provide referral level surgery, including orthopaedics such as TPLOs and soft tissue surgeries including BOAS, CT and Hydrotherapy.

They believe in nurturing the talent within their team their Head of Nursing Education, is currently developing career progression pathways to help identify and support their teams` career goals. They are passionate about the clinical side of nursing and their nurses are all clinical coaches and assist in supporting the many student nurses who complete their training with them. They are happy to support certificates and also provide further non-clinical training.
