We are on the lookout for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy first opinion and multi-disciplinary referral 24-hour hospital. This would be a great opportunity for someone to experience a busy hospital setting or an experienced candidate looking for a varied caseload.
As a consult only vet you will see mainly cats, dogs, small furies and the opportunity to do some exotic work should you wish.
The successful candidate will have a client-focused approach with enthusiasm for general clinical veterinary practice. A minimum of 2 years` experience is ideal, with certificates always welcomed and encouraged, but not essential.
The practice is fully equipped with separate cat wards/prep area, laparoscopy, CT, video endoscopy, colour flow doppler ultrasound and operating microscope.
The tea consists of 15 Veterinary Surgeons with 4 of those being Advanced Practitioners and 4 Certificate holders, 18 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 11 Student Veterinary Nurses and 19 Support Staff. They have an inquisitive and learning culture, encouraging input from all colleagues and wellbeing is prioritised. They also have several advanced practitioners and certificate holders to support you and act as mentors to support career progression.
