Salary Up to £60,000 DOE
We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who is enthusiastic about patient welfare, gold-standard treatment options, client journeys and colleague support and welfare. You will be a proactive individual who is able and willing to contribute your ideas and skills across the practice to build on the fantastic team and offering we have here. You will have a mix of consults and surgery so you have the best of both worlds.
Typically, the full-time position is 40 hours per week, spread over 5 days with a mix of early and late shifts (latest finish is 8:30pm). You will have a 1:5 share in the weekend rota, 8:30am-3:30pm on a Saturday and 10am - 2pm on a Sunday which accrues two full days off in TOIL. There is no OOH and we close on Christmas Day and New Years Day.
Our Stroud branch is equipped with an operating theatre, dedicated dental theatre, X-ray, dental X-ray, portable ultrasound and a newly installed scavenging system. We have separate Cat and Dog wards and an isolation kennel. We offer a separate Cat reception area, and a spacious and welcoming waiting room.
You will be joining a team of 10 Vets, 7 RVN``s, 2 SVN``s and 4 VCA``s along with a dedicated support team.
