Locum Equine Vet availability in Somerset.
The role would last until the practice successfully recruit someone permanent but they anticipate needing cover for at least 2-3 months.
The working hours are flexible in terms of start and finish time but probably 34 hours a week across 4 days.
They do offer an OOH service and it would be advantageous if the vet was willing to take part in this on a rotational rota basis.
VDS cover would be provided.
There is no accommodation available.
A vehicle will be provided.
Providing outstanding veterinary care in the heart of Somerset, their vets are experienced in treating horses and ponies involved in all competitive disciplines, alongside pleasure horses, companions and stud work. From the time the practice was established in 1997, their ethos has always been to provide a personal and professional service.
They offer 24 hour 7 days a week cover, provided by their own experienced equine vets, enabling excellent continuity of care for their clients.
Services include routine healthcare, pre purchase examinations, dentistry, poor performance, surgery, AI and breeding.
