Equine Vet vacancy at a practice in Devon.
Competitive salary up to £50,000 dependent on experience.
Full or Part time.
Would you like to join a friendly, supportive six vet equine team in a permanent position?
The role is ambulatory, covering all aspects of Equine practice. It would be great for an experienced vet looking to work as an equine vet in a practice with great facilities.
They would prefer a full time vet but can consider part time or flexible working hours, including part time day work alongside an equal share of the OOH rota if you are interested in the role but prefer not to work full time.
The practice pride themselves on working to a high clinical standard and are entirely dedicated to the care of their clients and their horses. All their experienced vets have owned and ridden horses, and have passed or are working towards post-graduate qualifications.
Fantastic clinic facilities, including a large examination room with stocks, lameness diagnostic facilities and operating theatre where we carry out elective surgical procedures.
High quality portable equipment, including video gastroscope and endoscopes, Cuattro Slate Hub digital x-ray units, high quality ultrasound scanners, battery-powered dental kit, shockwave and surgical laser.
This beautiful market town is surrounded by green rolling hills and wooded valleys that provide walking, cycling and riding trails to explore the local area. There`s also water sports, fishing destinations and the various national parks nearby. The friendly seaside town of Bude is a short drive away and offers some of the finest coastal scenery, exquisite beaches and best surf breaks in the UK!
Benefits include VDS, MRCVS paid, 5 days & £1750 CPD allowance (pro rata), 6.6 weeks holiday including bank holidays, Company Pension.
