Vet vacancy at a branch practice in Waltham Forest.
£50-70,000 DOE.
Full time 40 hours per week.
Branch opening hours are Monday to Friday 08:00-20:00, Saturday and Sunday 08:30-16:30 weekend rota follows a 1-in-4 pattern.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated, customer-focused minimum 3 year qualified Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at this Waltham Forest surgery.
full-time Vets typically work a 4-day week, with a consistent day off to support a healthy work-life balance. Each shift is 9 hours long and includes a mix of consulting and surgical duties across the week. To support effective communication and admin, every Vet has a dedicated hour each day for administrative tasks-built right into the working day.
You will be a key member of the surgery`s team, delivering excellence in clinical care and customer service. You will be responsible for delivering preventive services, treating sick and injured pets and be able to demonstrate a real passion for promoting pet wellbeing.
You will join a team of passionate, highly-skilled Veterinary Surgeons, Veterinary Nurses and front of house staff. Their Senior Veterinary Surgeon has qualifications in small animal medicine and has an interest in soft tissue and ultrasonology. Another Veterinary Surgeon in the team has a passion for medical cases - she has a qualification in critical care and is working towards her certificate in small animal medicine. As well as actively supporting the upskilling of their colleagues, they also pride themselves on providing a flexible working environment. One of their Senior Veterinary Surgeons currently splits his time working between 2 practices.
The state-of-the-art surgery is a large, purpose-built centre with 8 consulting rooms. They provide a nurse consultation service and they are delighted to have recently been awarded silver cat-friendly clinic status from the International Society of Feline Medicine.
