Permanent Night Vet Surgeon for a Hospital in West Sussex
Salary £60,000 to £72,000 pa depending on experience

The 3-week rolling rota pattern is 3-on, 7-off, 4-on, 7-off. Shifts are 13 hours long and time is built in for handover. The rota is semi-annualised meaning part of the holiday allowance is built into the rolling pattern. However, 7 shifts a year may be taken off as booked holiday.

Night vets work alongside an experienced team of ECC nurses: one night nurse and one twilight nurse each night plus ACA support in the week.

This role is based at a busy hospital. There is no accommodation available.

At our state-of-the-art hospital , you will work collaboratively with sister 1st opinion and referral businesses, , to deliver exceptional, personalised care to your patients 24/7.They are the out-of-hours provider of choice for many local practices who trust them to care for their emergencies and any patients needing inpatient treatment. That means no stressful back-and-forth transfers; inpatients stay at the hospital for seamless 24/7 care until they are ready for discharge.

You`ll be a Veterinary Surgeon (MRCVS) who has completed a minimum of 2 years in small-animal practice, ideally in the UK. You`ll have an interest and previous experience in emergency and critical care, although this doesn`t necessarily need to have been in a dedicated out-of-hours setting.
