Permanent part time vet needed for a small animal practice in East London for 2 days per week
The salary band for this position inclusive of weekend rotation is £45,000 to £61,000 FTE dependent on prior experience, and would be pro rata ``d down to your working hours.
T?he rota involves a Monday and Tuesday working week, plus 1:4 branch Saturdays,1:8 hospital Sundays and up to 2 bank holidays per year. You will be included in the last resort on-call rotation for the Hospital. If you are looking for a 4-day week they can accommodate an additional 2 days in local branches, where you will continue to be supported in your role.
Included in your initial induction period is also a hospital induction day to get to grips with hospital working before your first hospital shift.
They are looking for a future colleague who enjoys working in a busier GP environment and is comfortable with routine surgery and dentals due to the high caseload, while having ample support from senior and experienced vets within the teams.
You will be fully supported by a full-time senior vet, senior RVN, incredibly passionate trainee nurses and a regional manager whose support is invaluable to her region.
