We are looking for part time experienced Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVN) to join the Referrals team on a Fixed Term basis for 12 months (Maternity Cover) of this busy referral hospital in Surrey.

Starting salary range from £13,550 for the full evening / night shift - DOE

A successful candidate will work Friday Evening and/or Night between 5.30pm and 8.00am. We do not provide emergency cover overnight, outside of our own registered referral patients; therefore, the care is focused on our inpatients pre- and post-surgery.

Part time position covering Friday evening/night only (average 5.5 - 14.5 hours per week)
Ideally we are looking for someone to take on both the evening and night shifts together
Shifts:
Evening - 5.30pm - 11.00pm (5.5 hours per week)

Night - 10.30pm - 8.00am (9.5 hours per week) with a paid 1 hour break

You do not need to have previous referral experience to be considered for the position, all that we ask if that you are comfortable with all aspects of in-patient care. Full support and a full induction period will be given to ensure you feel settled within the team and your new working environment

The veterinary team comprises of RCVS Specialist in Small Animal Surgery, and RCVS Advanced Practitioner. The nursing team comprises of eleven RVNs and two VNAs led by an experienced Head Nurse.

The practice team has a supportive team culture and offers a great opportunity to work at a referral practice. We are RCVS PSS accredited and provide high level levels of surgical and in-patient care.

Five years ago, the practice re-located to a newly refurbished building with excellent facilities (2 operating theatres and on-site CT) in a beautiful rural setting. We are very well equipped to deal with the full range of orthopaedic procedures (THR, TPLO, CUE, arthroscopy etc).
