Permanent RVN Role available 35 Hours per week
Salary £24,750 to £26,390 depending on experience (£28,080 to £30,160 FTE)
The team consist of 3 vets, 4 RVNs, 4 reception/client care team and practice manager (also an RVN), each with their own clinical interests; one of the vets has a qualification in acupuncture. The Head Nurse has Cert VN ECC, ISFM DipFN & Adv Cert FB and another one of the nurses has several qualifications in canine massage therapy and rehabilitation.
They looking for an RVN with a keen eye for detail, someone who is keen to get stuck in and although no two days are the same, someone who is happy to take on the typical nursing duties:
RVN consults/clinics
Theatre duties
Prep/ward duties
Lab work
An ideal candidate will have experience in conducting nurse consults / clinics and comfortable with monitoring anaesthesia / theatre duties.
35-hour week, with no OOH, no on call and a 1:4 Saturday rota (Friday off if Saturday is worked) sound? Hopefully ticking some boxes!
What a typical week will look like:
Monday - off
Tuesday and Wednesday - 8:30 am - 6:30 pm
Thursday - 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Friday (3:4) / Saturday (1:4) - 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
No Sunday hours
Purpose built, state of the art premises offering fantastic facilities and equipment.
Training practice for RVNs and vet students (in association with UCLAN).
RCVS accredited to GP status and working towards customer care awards.
Silver Cat friendly status, Silver Rabbit Friendly status and are about to achieve Dog Friendly status.
IiE award at Bronze level, working towards Silver.
