Permanent RVN position in the heart of Lancashire
You will be based in a multi-site small animal practice which is fully equipped with modern facilities such as digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound and in-house lab, who offer 24/7 care including their own on-call service to their clients with a dedicated OOH night RVN team.
You``ll be joining a friendly, experienced team of vets, nurses, and support team members who genuinely care about each other, patients, and clients.
As a key member of the nursing team, you will be involved in:
Nurse consults and patient admissions/discharges
Anaesthesia monitoring and surgical nursing
In-patient care and recovery
Laboratory work and clinical administration
Supporting junior team members and student nurses
Full-time position (average 36.5 hours/week) split over 4 or 5 days
Shared weekends with time off in lieu (weekends additional, 1 in 6 weekends - alternates between Saturday daytime and a full weekend shift - daytimes)
Flexible working patterns can be discussed
Up to £16.05/hour dependent on experience (weekends paid additionally)
