Permanent Equine Vet required for an independent practice in Lincolnshire

The ideal candidate will have an interest in all areas of first opinion work, including medicine cases, lameness investigations and stud work, plus two to three years of practical clinical experience in an equine practice or hospital setting, however, we would also be pleased to hear from recent graduates who would like to develop their skills in these areas.

The caseload is busy, varied and interesting, and clients include leisure, sports and professional competition horse owners. All ambulatory work is undertaken, including preventative healthcare, reproduction services, medical, orthopaedic, and poor performance investigations, and standing surgical procedures. They have clinic facilities and a good range of diagnostic equipment. The clinical team is supported by experienced, knowledgeable and proactive support staff who ensure the smooth running of the practice and your day!

The successful candidate will:

• Be registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
• Be committed to working in line with all RCVS and VMD requirements and positively and professionally represent the practice and profession.
• Demonstrate a commitment to delivering excellent care to all patients and clients.
• Join the one-in-four out of hours rota for evenings and weekends.
• Be committed to working as part of a small but growing team with excellent communication skills.
• Have strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and offer a flexible approach to a dynamic workload.
• Demonstrate an inclusive, respectful and friendly attitude towards colleagues.
• Hold a full UK Driving License.
