An independent practice in Bletchley is hoping to find a Vet for 6 weeks cover from Feb 2026.
Spacious, well equipped one vet practice based in Fenny Stratford, Bletchley, Milton Keynes. Proud to offer own laboratory, purpose built sterile theatre, large prep area, diagnostic imaging suite and dental suite. They see small animals and small furries with a mixture of consultations and surgery. They work to a very high standard and have a very varied and interesting surgical and medical caseload. You will be well supported by a friendly, supportive and cheerful team comprising of an RVN, PCA, Receptionist and Practice Manager. They also have support from a peripatetic surgeon and medic if necessary.
This will be a sole charge role working a 5 day week, Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 6.30pm with no out of hours or overnight inpatient care. The workload will be a mixture of consultations and surgery and will be a very manageable workload with time every day for a lunchbreak. They have a well-equipped and spacious staff room to relax in. This will be a very enjoyable 6 week locum position in a non-stressful environment working alongside a welcoming, enthusiastic and helpful team.
We are a really special practice with very bonded clients and it is really important that you are client and patient focused with compassion and kindness for patients. You must be very experienced surgically and confident and competent with all routine surgical procedures, thorough and work up cases well.
No accommodation, paying £450 per day max. They are not be able to accommodate pets at the practice and will require your own VDS cover.
They also encourage an orientation visit to the practice prior to the start date.
