Permanent GP Role within a busy Hospital in West London
Having a keen interest in imaging or a certificate would be beneficial, but not essential.
The salary band for this full-time role is £45,000 to £73,000 depending on prior experience
The team are looking for a competent GP vet who is able to jump straight in with routine surgeries, including bitch spays and dentals, and be able to manage emergency cases. With a high imaging caseload this would be the perfect role for a GP vet with a passion for diagnostic imaging, to either utilise their existing skills, or develop on their area of interest.
Hospital provides an excellent first opinion, emergency, critical care, and referral service to our clients and local network of 20 branches and works to the highest clinical standards.
There is state of the art diagnostic support, with a CT scanner, a commercial laboratory, a strong medical team, and experienced surgeons routinely conducting advanced orthopaedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive surgery all available on site.
You will be fully supported by a team of experienced hospital vets including a senior medic/ECC and GP vet, our incredible nursing team made up of experienced RVN``s, students, nursing assistants and front of house team, as well as on site clinical managers.
Your rota will be on a 6 weekly rotational basis made up of an average of 40 hours per week, inclusive of your 1:3 Saturday and 1:6 Sunday weekend rotation. This will enable you to work within all departments of the hospital, ranging across consulting, surgery, ward and ECC. You will be rota `d to up to 2 bank holidays per year and be included in the last resort on-call rotation.
