Ambulatory stud veterinarian required to work a fixed term contract from mid-April to end of August 2026.
Experienced with routine management of mares for AI required and embryo transfer preferred.
Some routine ambulatory day to day veterinary work. Not able to provide VetGDP.
This Equine practice is a small, friendly independent ambulatory equine practice based in beautiful Sussex.
Routine weekend stud work shared as a 1 in 3 weekend cover. No OOH emergency duty.
• Accommodation provided.
• Vehicle (van) provided or mileage if own car used.
• Phone provided.
• Holidays pro rata of annual allowance (33 days per annum inclusive of bank and public holidays).
• CPD pro rata of annual allowance (5 days and £2000 per annum).
• Start date 13th April 2026 until 28th August 2026.
• No out of hours emergency cover.
• 1 in 3 rota to cover the routine weekend stud work.
Salary is commensurate with experience. They can also offer accommodation, car, pension scheme, CPD and holiday allowance pro rata, and private health care. .
