Permanent OOH ECC Veterinary Surgeon in Leeds
7 nights on, 14 nights off
8pm-8am
Working alongside OOH
£55K-£60K dependent upon experience
Work alongside OOH RVN and OOH VCA.
Reception till 10pm, additional twighlight RVN support till 12pm
Surgical, Medicine, Dentistry Certificate holder in-house support
£1,500 Annual CPD allowance, Certificate sponsorship encouraged
Part of a proactive in-house CPD/Clinical development veterinary team.
70 colleagues (15 vets).
Happy to support vets who want to locum elsewhere during their 14 days off
As an advanced practice our client would expect thier night team to be able to deliver, with support and training:
Oesophageal tube placements
Seldinger Chest Drain placements
Silicone Abdominal Peritoneal Drains
Pig tail urinary catheters
TFAST AFAST
Endoscoscopy
Negative Pressure Wound Therapy
Urinary Catheterisation
The night team will regularly perform caesareans, pyometra, exploratory laparotomy with enterotomy and enterectomy. On the medicine side we see many Addisonian, Ketoacidotic diabetic cases and sever pancreatitis cases.
