Part-Time Veterinary Surgeon
24hrs per week
Up to £36K pa (£60K FTE) dependent upon experience
Fixed Shift Pattern
Wednesday ????9-6:00 ????consults (30 min sick pet as standard)
Thursday ???? 9-8:00???? consults (30 min sick pet as standard)
1 in 4 weekends* either 7:30-6, 9:30-8 or 10-8:30 shifts
* ? Weekends are ECC and (booked) emergency consults only, working alongside full clinical team with management, three vets on per shift as standard managing hospital inpatients, emergency on the day appointments and ECC procedures and surgery. Veterinary teams are balanced to reflect skills and competence in medicine, consulting and surgery.
Surgical, Medicine, Dentistry Certificate holder in-house support
£1,000 Annual CPD allowance, Certificate sponsorship encouraged
Part of a proactive in-house CPD/Clinical development veterinary team.
70 colleague hospital team (15 vets).
Happy to offer to vet experienced in ophthalmology, dermatology or feline medicine (with scope to develop own referral clinics). Looking to develop these services to our clients as we have a large referral potential from our 19 practices that feed into the hospital OOH and existing referral services.
Happy to support part-time position if candidate supplements this schedule with ongoing locum work.
